A motorcyclist killed in a crash on the Pomona (60) Freeway in the Pomona area was identified Saturday as a Riverside resident.
Julian Moors was 44 years old, according to the coroner’s office.
The crash occurred about 5:40 a.m. Friday on the eastbound Pomona Freeway west of Garey Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A 2008 Mercedes Benz CL550 driven by a 29-year-old Compton man lost a wheel, which the 2017 BMW motorcycle ridden by Moors struck, causing him to overturn and get dumped in traffic lanes, where he was hit by a 2019 Kia Sportage driven by a 37-year-old Lynwood woman, the CHP said.
Alcohol and/or drugs were not believed a factor in the crash, the CHP said.
