A fire broke out in the garage of a home in Hemet Wednesday evening, displacing two adults for the night.
The fire was reported about 8:35 p.m. in the 26000 block of Avenida Hortensia, one block from Lake Street, according to April Newman of the Riverside County Fire Department.
The fire was contained by 8:47 p.m., but crews were expected to stay at the scene for over an hour, the department reported.
No injuries were reported, Newman said.
The Red Cross was requested to provide shelter for two adults displaced by the fire.
