The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose Tuesday for the 27th time in the past 28 days, increasing a half-cent to $2.866.
The average price is 4.2 cents more than one week ago and 20 cents higher than one month ago, but $1 cheaper than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
It has dropped 63.6 cents since the start of the year.
