A house fire in La Quinta Tuesday afternoon displaced two adults and a child.
The fire, which started in the home’s garage and spread to the house, was reported about 5:25 p.m. in the 78000 block of Sun Brook Lane, near Miles Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters contained the fire at 6:40 p.m., the department said.
The cause of the fire was not released.
