A paraglider suffered traumatic injuries Saturday when the aircraft malfunctioned 30 to 50 feet above ground in Winchester near Perris.
It was reported at 7:38 p.m. at Leon and Holland roads, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The patient suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ground ambulance to a hospital for treatment, fire officials said.
