A motorist who died in a collided head-on crash in Eastvale was identified Thursday as an 88-year-old Hawthorne man.
The crash that killed Theodore Rich was reported at 8:34 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Baron Drive and Archibald Avenue, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
Firefighters had to extricate Rich from one of the vehicles, and paramedics transported him to Corona Regional Medical Center with major injuries, and he died less than an hour later.
The cause of the crash has not been released.
