Firefighters were battling a 15-acre wildfire south of Winchester Sunday amid sweltering red flag conditions.
The blaze was reported at 12:48 p.m. near the intersection of Winchester and Scott roads, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Fire officials said 11 engine companies, four hand crews and air resources were at the scene.
No injuries or structure damage were reported.
