Firefighters Sunday knocked down a third-alarm blaze at a strip mall in the Jurupa Valley, where three buildings were on fire, but no injuries were reported, authorities said.
The third-alarm commercial fire was reported at 4:55 a.m. in the 5400 block of Mission Boulevard and spewed plenty of heavy smoke, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters had the blaze knocked down a little before 6:30 a.m.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was called to the scene to handle traffic control.
The cause was under investigation.
