Road closures are slated to begin again Thursday in an area of Palm Desert, where crews are constructing a portion of the city’s CV Link segment.
Magnesia Falls Drive will be closed to eastbound traffic between Monterey and San Pablo avenues from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays through next Wednesday. City officials urged motorists to use alternate routes such as Fred Waring Drive.
The $100 million CV Link project is slated to add more than 40 miles of pathway for biking, jogging and small electric vehicles to the Coachella Valley. Palm Desert will be home to a roughly 5-mile stretch of the project.
Construction of the Palm Desert segment is scheduled to wrap up in April, officials said.
