A person was found dead off Interstate 10 Saturday in Whitewater, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The body was found at about 10:30 a.m. near the freeway’s eastbound Tipton Road off-ramp, according to the CHP.
Personnel from the Riverside County coroner’s office were dispatched to the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the death were not immediately available.
