Shaquille O’Neal’s restaurant in L.A. Live is being sued by a patron who alleges he was injured after tripping and falling on a “camouflaged” step in the eatery in January.
Ira Schisler’s Los Angeles Superior Court negligence suit was filed Wednesday and seeks unspecified damages. The restaurant is currently closed due to the coronavirus and a representative could not be immediately reached.
Schisler, 67, went to Shaquille’s on Jan. 5 and says he was hurt after he tripped and fell on what he described as a camouflaged step on the way down from the main dining room to a walkway towards the bathroom, according to the suit.
There were no signs warning of a change in elevation even though management had an obligation to make customers aware of dangerous conditions on the premises, the suit states.
The lawsuit does not elaborate on the nature or extent of Schisler’s alleged injuries.
