An estimated 3,537 customers briefly lost power Thursday in La Quinta and Thermal.
The outage was reported at 11:21 a.m. in unspecified portions of the affected communities, with all power reported to be fully restored an hour later, according to the Imperial Irrigation District.
No cause for the outage was given.
The outage occurred as temperatures were expected to reach 111 degrees in portions of the Coachella Valley.
