Fire damaged five units and displaced six residents of an apartment building in Menifee Tuesday evening and one resident was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
Firefighters responded to Sun City and Cherry Hills boulevards about 10:05 p.m. and found two units fully involved in fire, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The fire was extinguished around 11 p.m. and all residents were accounted for at the scene. The Red Cross has been called in to assist six residents displaced by the fire, the department said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
