Two motorists throwing water bottles at each other’s vehicles caused a multi-vehicle crash Monday on Interstate 10 near Palm Desert, authorities said.
The non-injury crash was reported at about 8 a.m. in the westbound direction, west of the Washington Street off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Between four and six vehicles were involved, the CHP said.
The slow lane was temporarily blocked.
