A blaze Monday gutted a Jurupa Valley house, but no injuries were reported.

The two-alarm fire broke out about 12:30 p.m. at 5230 Rutile Street, near Jurupa Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Crews encountered flames on two sides of the single-story residence. The fire also spread to a sedan parked in the driveway, and electrical lines collapsed next to the property.

By 1:15 p.m., firefighters had largely contained the flames, according to reports from the scene.

An unknown number of individuals were displaced by the fire, and the American Red Cross was contacted to help find them temporary lodging.

The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
