Five people were hurt Wednesday in a rollover crash in Indio, including two children who suffered serious injuries, officials said.
The solo vehicle crash was reported about 9:50 a.m. in the area of Avenue 50 and Monroe Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Two of the vehicle’s five occupants were ejected, officials said.
Three people — including the two children whose ages were not specified — suffered serious injuries, while the other occupants suffered injuries described as minor to moderate, a county fire spokeswoman confirmed.
Two patients requiring immediate treatment were airlifted to an area hospital, officials said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
