A fire that erupted Wednesday in Mead Valley damaged two single-wide trailers and several vehicles, displacing a resident, who was not injured.
The blaze was reported about 5:15 p.m. in the area of Barnes Avenue and Mack Street, just west of Perris, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency said multiple engine crews were sent to the location and encountered flames burning around the trailers and cars, extending into vegetation.
The fire was largely contained by 5:40 p.m., according to reports from the scene.
The extent of damage to the trailers and vehicles could not immediately be confirmed.
The lone occupant of the property, identified only as a man, was displaced, and officials requested Red Cross personnel to assist with finding him temporary housing.
Crews were expected to finish mopping up by 7:30 p.m.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
