A boy killed when the vehicle he was riding in plunged over the side of a freeway exit ramp in Corona was identified Thursday as a 15-year-old Riverside resident.
Deven Camolina was fatally injured about 11:50 p.m. Tuesday at the Cajalco Road off-ramp from northbound Interstate 15, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
The California Highway Patrol said that the sedan plunged into a dry wash after veering off of the freeway ramp, but no other details were available.
The car was occupied by several other people, who suffered unspecified injuries, the CHP said.
Deven was pronounced dead at the scene by Corona Fire Department paramedics.
An investigation into the crash was ongoing, and anyone with information was asked to contact the Riverside CHP office at 951-637-8000.
