An 80-year-old man who died in a solo-vehicle crash in West Hills was identified Wednesday.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded at 8:23 p.m. Tuesday to 24440 Bell Canyon Road, near Valley Circle Boulevard, where they found the motorist, who had crashed into a tree, according to LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was identified Wednesday by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Rick Neff.
