Detectives investigating a missing persons case tuned up the remains of two people in a remote part of Lancaster Tuesday, authorities said.
Investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded Tuesday to the area of 50th Street East and Avenue F. Video from the scene showed a property with dilapidated structures and the remnants of a greenhouse, along with several K-9 teams investigating the area, using cadaver dogs to search the location.
Sheriff’s officials said the identities of the victims were being withheld pending notification of relatives.
A homicide investigation was underway, but further details were not immediately available.
