After overcoming two heat waves in the past month, Los Angeles will continue to see cooler temperatures this weekend as well as nice beach weather.
According to the National Weather Service, expected highs on Saturday will range from the mid 80s in Los Angeles to the mid 70s along the coast. Some patches of fog are expected overnight closer to the ocean with lows in the low to mid 60s.
On Sunday, forecasters predict much of the same with high in the mid 80s in downtown Los Angeles and mid 70s in coastal cities. Overnight lows on Sunday will also stick in the mid 60s.
Ocean swells will remain low, which comes along with a lower risk of rip currents at local beaches. Water temperatures will remain warm, hovering around 70 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
