The 2015 version of the Rose Parade missed setting a cold-weather record by one degree, the National Weather Service reported Thursday.

The official overnight temperature at Pasadena was 33 degrees at 4:09 a.m.

The coldest Rose Parade on record was in 1952, when it was 32 degrees, parade officials said.

By the time the last float had crossed the starting line at Orange Grove Boulevard, the air in Pasadena had warmed to about 45 degrees, according to reports from nearby stations.
