A weak low pressure system moving through Southern California could bring scattered light showers to the Los Angeles region this weekend.

Highs Saturday will be in the mid 60s to around 70, while lows overnight will be in the 50s.

The National Weather Service office in Oxnard is forecasting the most rain for Sunday, with the region drying out on Monday and warming through the week.

Rainfall amounts are expected to range from around one-tenth to one-quarter inch in coastal and valley areas, with more in the mountains.
