The Los Angeles area is under a no-burn alert and showers are possible later in the day on Saturday.
The National Weather Service forecast calls for the morning to be partly cloudy with patchy drizzle in the morning. After a partial clearing in the afternoon, there is a 40 percent chance of showers Saturday night.
Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s., dropping to the mid 50s at night.
The chance of precipitation increases to 70 percent on Sunday.
The South Coast Air Quality Management District originally issued the no-burn order order for all residences in the South Coast Air Basin for Friday, but later extended it through Saturday
The order excludes the Coachella Valley, residences above 3,000 feet in elevation, and homes where there is no other source of heat.
