The forecast for Saturday calls for mostly cloudy skies. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning then a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs from the lower to mid 70s at the beaches to the lower to mid 80s inland. Chance of precipitation 30 percent.
The ultraviolet index level for Friday is a very high 11, according to the weather service. A very high exposure level reading of 10, or greater, means a fair skinned person could suffer a sunburn in about four minutes if not protected.
