If you’re headed to the beach Sunday, leave some extra time to battle heavy traffic as it’s going to be another beautiful, warm, sunny Southern California day and everyone will be looking for that perfect spot on the sand.
Early morning patchy low clouds and fog should burn off quite early, leaving most of the day with blue skies and warm temperatures.
The National Weather Service forecast calls for highs from the mid to upper 70s at the beaches to the mid to upper 80s inland.
And we can expect similar weather to be with us through much of the week coming up, although temperatures will heat up even more later in the week in time for next weekend.
The South Coast Air Quality Management District predicted air quality that will be in the good to unhealthful for sensitive groups range in the South Coast Air Basin on Sunday.
