The Southland can expect a sunny day Saturday with highs from the lower to mid 70s at the beaches to around 80 inland after the usual morning fog burns off.

The National Weather Service said Saturday night will be mostly clear, with  low clouds and fog developing later. Lows will be in the lower to mid 60s. West winds will be around 15 mph.

Sunday will dawn with low clouds and fog then turn sunny. Highs will be from around 70 at the beaches to around 80 inland.

The South Coast Air Quality Management District predicted air quality that will be in the good to moderate range in the South Coast Air Basin Saturday.
