Monday night there will be increasing clouds with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 60s to mid 70s.

The forecast for Tuesday calls for mostly cloudy skies with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs from the mid 70s to around 80 at the beaches to the mid 80s inland.

In Coastal Orange County the forecast for Monday calls for partly cloudy skies. Slight chance of showers and    thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs 83 to 88. Chance of measurable precipitation 20 percent.

Monday night it will be partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows around 69. Chance of measurable precipitation 40 percent.

Tuesday it will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs 79 to 84. Chance of measurable precipitation 50 percent.

The ultraviolet index level in the Los Angeles area for Monday is a high 7, according to the weather service. A high exposure level reading of 7-9 means that a person could be sunburned in 7-8 minutes.
