It’ll be hot, and then it’ll get even hotter.
After a relatively mild, warm and sunny day Wednesday, Southland temperatures will start increasing Thursday and Friday, topping out close to triple digits this weekend.
Temperatures will peak into the mid to upper-90s in downtown Los Angeles and other inland areas Saturday and Sunday after temperatures Thursday in the mid to upper 80s. Local beaches will probably be jammed as temperatures there this weekend will soar into the mid-80s.
According to The National Weather Service forecast, Los Angeles and its vicinity saw sunny skies on Wednesday with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s.
Wednesday night will be mostly clear in the evening with areas of low clouds and fog. Lows in the lower to mid 60s.
The forecast for Thursday calls for areas of low clouds and fog in the morning then sunny. Highs from around 80 at the beaches to the mid to upper 80s inland.
In Coastal Orange County the forecast for Wednesday calls for mostly sunny skies. Highs 76 to 81.
Wednesday night it will be mostly clear in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. Patchy fog overnight. Lows around 61.
Thursday it will be partly cloudy in the morning then becoming mostly sunny. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs 79 to 84.
