Thursday night it will be mostly clear early then low clouds and fog. Lows in the mid 50s to around 60.
The forecast for Friday calls for pretty much the same kind of weather throughout the Southland.
But things will heat up for the weekend, with the mercury topping out in the mid 80s in downtown Los Angeles and other inland areas. Local beaches will see temperatures in the low 80s Saturday and Sunday, so expect big crowds looking for one more post-summer fun experience on the sand.
In Coastal Orange County the forecast for Thursday calls for a partly cloudy morning, then becoming mostly sunny. Highs 73 to 78.
Thursday night it will be mostly clear in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. Lows around 58.
Friday it will be mostly cloudy in the morning, then becoming mostly sunny. Highs 75 to 80.
