It will be sunny and warm in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, with highs in the 70s, but a cooling trend is on the way
The National Weather Service said a fast moving cold front will bring a slight chance of rain Sunday night and Monday.
The forecast for central Los Angeles from Malibu to Long Beach calls for a clear evening, then clouds and a 20 percent chance of rain. Lows will be in the 50s to around 60.
The chance of rain will increase to 30 percent on Monday morning, which will be cooler with highs in the mid 60s to around 70.
The South Coast Air Quality Management District predicted air quality will be in the good to moderate range in the South Coast Air Basin on Sunday.
