
Saturday’s storm was a bit stronger than expected, with more than a half inch of rain falling in some places, the National Weather Service said Sunday.
A measuring station in Bel Air, near UCLA, got .51 inches of rain, the highest total in Los Angeles County.

Other totals included .36 inches at Culver City and Los Angeles International Airport, .27 at Hawthorne, .26 at downtown Los Angeles and .19 at Long Beach.
Cities in eastern and northern L.A. County also got soaked in excess of the quarter inch prediction: .37 inch in Claremont, .23 at Alhambra, .19 at Burbank and .12 at Canoga Park.
