Rainy weather didn’t just dampen roads Tuesday, it dampened the spirits of some people hoping to go to area theme parks.

Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park and Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia both closed for the day due to the wet weather.

The rain, however, didn’t keep Disneyland from operating as usual. Some guests even posted photos online of popular attractions being drenched with rain.

It was also business as usual Tuesday at Universal Studios Hollywood.

A person answering the public phone at Six Flags said the park is expected to reopen Wednesday, but she urged anyone planning to visit to check the Six Flags website before making the trip. Calls to other parks weren’t immediately returned, but anyone planning an outing at a Southern California outdoor attraction was advised to check in advance to be sure the destination is open.
