The National Weather Service forecast for Los Angeles and vicinity on Monday calls for partly to mostly cloudy skies. Highs in the mid 60s. High surf advisory in effect from 10 p.m. Monday evening to 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Monday night it will be partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly clear. Lows in the 40s to around 50.

The forecast for Tuesday calls for sunny skies. Highs in the mid 60s.

In Coastal Orange County the forecast for Monday calls for partly cloudy skies. Highs 63 to 68.

Monday night it will be partly cloudy. Lows 43 to 48.

Tuesday it will be partly cloudy in the morning, then becoming mostly sunny. Highs 64 to 69.

The ultraviolet index level in the Los Angeles area for Monday is a minimal 2, according to the weather service. A reading of 0-2 indicates a minimal exposure level, and very fair skinned people could become sunburned in 30 minutes if not properly protected.
