Gusty northwest to north winds will develop late Sunday afternoon in the wake of a cold front that moved through Southern California.

A National Weather Service wind advisory is in effect for the Los Angeles County mountains. Areas expected to see the strongest winds include the Interstate 5 Corridor, as well as passes and canyons along the Santa Ynez Range.

The forecast for central Los Angeles from Malibu to Long Beach calls for sun with highs in the mid 60s. Temperatures will drop into the mid 40s to lower 50s overnight.

Monday is expected to be sunny and warmer with highs in the mid 60s to around 70.
