Sunday will be sunny and mild in Los Angles and Orange counties, but a warming trend begins on Monday.
The National Weather Service forecast for central Los Angeles from Malibu to Long Beach calls for sun with highs in the mid 60s to mid 70s. It will be clear overnight with lows in the 50s.
Coastal Orange County will be mostly sunny with highs 67 to 72 and light winds. Lows overnight will be 45 to 50.
Temperatures will rise on Monday due to a high pressure system, with the region again seeing above-normal highs for the winter.
“Max temps will jump another 4 to 8 degrees across the coasts and valleys Monday under offshore flow and sunny skies,” the weather service said.
