Another beautiful March day is expected in the Southland with warm temperatures and sunny skies.

The National Weather Service forecast for Los Angeles and vicinity on Thursday calls for sunny skes. Highs from around 70 at the beaches to around 80 inland

Thursday night it will be mostly clear in the evening then areas of low clouds and fog. Fog locally dense with visibility one quarter mile or less. Lows in the mid to upper 50s.

The forecast for Friday calls for low clouds and fog in the morning then sunny. Highs are expected in the upper 60s to mid 70s.

In Coastal Orange County the forecast for Thursday calls for mostly sunny skies. Highs 69 to 74.

Thursday night it will be mostly clear in the evening then low clouds and fog. Lows 49 to 54.

Friday expect low clouds and fog in the morning then sunny. Fog locally dense with visibility one quarter mile or less. Highs from the mid to upper 60s at the beaches to the mid to upper 70s inland. West winds around 15 mph in the afternoon.

The ultraviolet index level in the Los Angeles area for Thursday is a high 8, according to the weather service. A high exposure level reading of 7-9 means that a person could be sunburned in 7-8 minutes.
