The sunshine is back and so are warm temperatures in Los Angeles and Orange counties.

The National Weather Service forecast for Los Angeles and vicinity on Thursday calls for sunny skies except for patchy low clouds across Salinas River Valley in the morning. Highs in the mid 60s to lower 70s.

Thursday night it will be mostly clear early then low clouds and fog. Lows in the lower to mid 50s.

The forecast for Friday calls for low clouds and fog in the morning then sunny. Highs from the lower to mid 60s at the beaches to the lower 70s inland.

In Coastal Orange County the forecast for Thursday calls for mostly sunny skies. Highs around 65.

Thursday night it will be partly cloudy in the evening and becoming mostly cloudy. Lows around 51.

Friday it will be mostly cloudy in the morning, then becoming mostly sunny. Highs 64 to 69.

The ultraviolet index level in the Los Angeles area for Thursday is a high 7, according to the weather service. A high exposure level reading of 7-9 means that a person could be sunburned in 7-8 minutes.
