It will be sunny and mild on Sunday in Los Angeles, starting what forecasters say will be a pleasant late spring week in the Southland.

The National Weather Service office in Oxnard said the forecast for central Los Angeles from Malibu to Long Beach is for sunny skies with highs in the mid 60s to lower 70s. It will be mostly clear overnight, with lows in the lower to mid 50s.

Coastal Orange County will be partly cloudy in the morning with sun in the afternoon. Highs will be around 67. Lows overnight will be 53 to 58.

The weather service expects low clouds and fog in the mornings this week, with mostly sunny conditions in the afternoons.
