
A trough of low pressure that’s bringing rain to parts of the Los Angeles region Sunday is expected to move through, bringing clearer skies for Halloween.
Clouds are forecast to clear Monday morning in the LA metro area, bringing mostly sunny skies to the region in the afternoon and through the night, according to the National Weather Service.
The Monday high temperature in Los Angeles is forecast to reach 68 degrees, with an overnight low of 57 degrees.
The Halloween weather forecast for local mountains and deserts calls for partly cloudy skies and no rain.
For those traveling through the mountains and deserts late Sunday afternoon and into the evening, a wind advisory is in effect through 11 p.m. Areas impacted include Riverside County mountains, the San Gorgonio pass near Banning, and the San Diego County mountains and deserts, according to the NWS. Gusts in these areas may reach up to 50 mph, the NWS reports.
