Dense flog blanketed coastal Los Angeles and Orange Counties on Saturday morning, with visibility a quarter mile or less.

The National Weather Service office in Oxnard issued a fog advisory through 9 a.m., but forecast sunny skies with highs from the mid 60s at the beaches to mid to upper 70s inland for later on Saturday.

Coastal Orange County will be slightly warmer, with highs 71 to 76 and light winds.

Southern California is also facing high surf and rip currents because of a long period west to northwest swell. The highest surf, with 10 to 15 foot waves, is expected along the Central Coast.
