A frost advisory will be in effect in the Antelope Valley from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m., meaning pets should be brought indoors and measures should be taken to protect outdoor plants.
Antelope Valley temperatures will be in the low to mid 30s this morning and even colder 24 hours later, when they’ll fall to the high 20s, according to the National Weather Service.
A hard freeze watch, which reflects the expectation of two hours or more of temperatures of 28 degrees Fahrenheit or less, will be in effect in the Antelope Valley from late tonight into early Friday, and steps again should be taken to protect animals.
