A man who was fatally struck by a Metro B Line train at the Hollywood and Vine station was identified Monday.
William Boerger, 26, who was homeless, was pronounced dead at the scene around 8:15 p.m. Sunday at 6250 Hollywood Blvd., according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Boerger was trapped beneath the train, the LAFD reported. The circumstances of the death were under investigation.
