A dense fog advisory is in effect in parts of Los Angeles County, downtown Los Angeles, Malibu, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Hollywood and Long Beach until 9 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Visibility is one-quarter mile or less in dense fog. Very low visibility can create dangerous driving conditions.
The National Weather Service recommends to slow down while driving, use headlights, and leave plenty of distance between cars while driving.
