There are reports of lightning strikes Wednesday in parts of Los Angeles County and Ventura County, according to the National Weather Service.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms developed in the eastern Antelope Valley on Tuesday. A strong storm with heavy rain and hail was reported in Llano and drifted out of the Antelope Valley in the afternoon. It produced 0.84 inches of rain in less than an hour and prompted a flood advisory in Llano.

The lightning strikes Wednesday were seen over the San Pedro Channel around 2:30 a.m.

The NWS reported there is a slight chance of lightning for most of Los Angeles County and the inner waters to Catalina Island through the pre-dawn hours and mid-morning.
