A 18-year-old struck and killed by an Amtrak train in North Hollywood was identified Friday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Jonathan Abrego.
Paramedics were sent to the 7100 block of Lankershim Boulevard, just south of Sherman Way, shortly after noon Wednesday.
Abrego was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the county medical examiner and Los Angeles Fire Department.
No other injuries were reported.
