Caltrans announced Tuesday daytime lane closures on the Pomona (60) Freeway in the eastern San Gabriel Valley from Wednesday through Fridays as crews repair pavement ahead of storms associated with the El Niño weather cycle.
The closures will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., causing potential delays for commuters.
Two westbound lanes will be closed Wednesday from Reservoir Street in Pomona to the Chino Valley (71) Freeway. The Reservoir Street on-ramp to the westbound Pomona Freeway is also set to be closed.
On Thursday, three westbound lanes from Phillips Ranch Road to Diamond Bar Boulevard are set to be closed, along with the Phillips Ranch Road on-ramp.
One lane of the eastbound Pomona Freeway at Nogales Street in Rowland Heights is set to close, along with the Nogales Street on-ramp to the eastbound Pomona Freeway.
The schedule is subject to change due to weather or operational reasons, Caltrans announced.
