A woman fell from a cliff near the “Sunken City” wreckage at Point Fermin Saturday.

Firefighters said the 19-year-old woman fell 20 feet at the San Pedro landmark.

The woman was rushed to Harbor General Hospital in Torrance, with an injured arm or leg, firefighters at the scene said.

Paramedics and firefighters were dispatched to 1 Point Fermin at 10:57 a.m for a cliff rescue, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The location is called “Sunken City” because a blufftop subdivision slumped towards the ocean. Its streets and building foundations are fenced off but attract thrillseekers.
