A little girl, possibly 3 years old, was found wandering in the Compton area on Saturday, and her family was questioned Sunday as to how she was lost.
The child’s mother, father and grandmother called into the Sheriff’s Department’s Compton station about 10 a.m., after either seeing the child’s picture on television or on the Internet, said Sgt. Eric Johnson.
“Investigators are currently interviewing the mother, Dad and grandmother,” said Johnson, who he had no other immediate information for release.
The girl was found by a concerned citizen wandering in the area of Willowbrook Avenue at Alondra Boulevard about 6 p.m. Saturday, sheriff’s deputies reported.
