
A driver was injured Monday morning when her car collided with a Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance in Lincoln Heights, authorities said.
The crash was reported at Broadway and Griffin Avenue at 3:14 a.m., said an officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Traffic Division. The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment, he said.
Firefighters cut the woman out of her sedan, a news videographer reported from the scene.
An investigation into the collision was underway, the officer said. The ambulance was not responding to a call for service at the time of the collision.
